Google 定位
Google Latitude（中國大陸官方譯名：谷歌縱橫，台灣、香港官方譯名：Google 定位）是由Google開發的顯示使用者地理位置的行動裝置軟體。「Google 定位」讓手機使用者允許特定的人跟蹤他們的地理位置。通過使用者自己的Google帳戶，他們的位置顯示在Google Maps上。使用者可以控制其他使用者可以檢視他們位置的精度和細節——確切位置或者僅所在城市。出於隱私考慮，使用者可以關閉它，或者手動指定一個地理位置。使用者必須選擇加入「Google 定位」，並且只能看到允許他們看到自己位置的好友的位置。[1]

2005年Google收購的Dodgeball，使用簡訊提供了類似的服務。「Google 定位」將服務擴充至了個人電腦上，並且在手機上通過Cell-ID、蜂窩定位和 GPS自動檢測地理位置。
2013年7月10日，Google在官方部落格中宣布 Google Latitude 將會停止服務，類似的功能已經存在於Google+中[2]。 Google Latitude 已於2013年8月9日停止服務，包括： Google Maps for Android 、 Latitude for iPhone 、 Latitude API 、 公開位置顯示圖、 iGoogle 掛件、 Latitude 網頁。[3]
隱私擔憂
編輯鑑於地理位置隱私擔憂，[4] Google 宣布「Google 定位」會用使用者的新地理位置覆蓋其前一個地理位置，不會記錄提供給「Google 定位」的地理位置。[5][6]即便如此，Latitude 使用者可以選擇保留他們「Google 定位」的地理位置歷史記錄。[7]在2010年5月末， Google 發布了一個 API 在使用者同意的情況下允許應用程式使用 Latitude 資料。
相容性
編輯Google Latitude 相容大多數執行Android、BlackBerry OS、Windows Mobile、S60 和 iOS 的裝置。[8][9] 起初 Google 在 Latitude 頁面承諾 Latitude 會在 Java ME 裝置上可用，但是這個聲明後來從網站上移除。在一些平台上， Latitude 可以在 Latitude 應用程式沒有在使用的時候在後台持續更新使用者的地理位置，在另一些平台上則只能在 Latitude 應用程式在使用的時候更新。
Sony Ericsson W995, C903, C510 和 Satio 手機在它們內建的Google Maps應用程式中支援「Google 定位」。雖然這是一個 Java ME 應用程式，但是不能下載以在其他手機上使用。
