生涯
編輯丹尼爾·維吉爾·麥森紐夫於1999年10月22日出生於紐約州奈阿克，他的家庭是一個擁有台裔、法裔加拿大血統的家庭。後來他的家人從奈阿克搬至新澤西州里奇伍德的一個郊區中長大，16歲開始了他的音樂生涯。[3] 6歲他開始學習鋼琴，但幾年後他選擇放棄彈自己的鋼琴是因為他心理上的問題。2016年秋季，麥森紐夫決心輟學追隨自己的音樂夢想。2019年，他的單曲〈Cradles〉因網絡迷因在TikTok開始爆紅。[4]
